Is a highly resistant special resin quality for flat-head printers with very good mechanical and outstanding chemical resistance. It prints in excellent quality on smooth surfaces, i.e. films and plastic materials such as shrink tubing, cable markers and PVC cards. Coated papers can also be printed to a limited extent.

High resolutions of up to 600 dpi are possible and the T 850 Sw is suitable for printing the smallest fonts and 2-D barcodes.

Because of its low sensitivity, the T 850 Sw requires a higher printing energy.

The print is smudge-, scratch- and eraser-resistant and cannot be removed with adhesive tape.

However, it shows its full strength on specially matched label materials:

The print on these films is extremely resistant to organic solvents such as toluene, acetone, MEK, hexane, ethanol, IPA, as well as brake fluid, hydraulic oil and petrol and is virtually impossible to remove !

Our test results were determined on FLEXcon CHEMGARD MM (silver matt).

This thermal transfer ribbon is approved for GHS labelling (according to BS5609 – seawater resistance) and UL-certified on certain label materials.

The T 850 Sw is used for printing high-quality and durable identification labels in the industrial sector (electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, automotive, chemical) and in laboratories where the highest demands are made on resistance. Specifically, cables, shrink tubing and terminals in switch cabinets are labelled with it, as are type plates and electronic components with the smallest labels that require a high resolution.
