Thermal Transfer Ribbon
T 845 Sw
Is a particularly durable special resin quality with outstanding mechanical, chemical and very high temperature resistance. It prints in excellent quality, but only on very smooth surfaces, i.e. foils and especially PVC cards. Because of its low sensitivity, it requires a high printing energy.
The print is characterised by excellent mechanical resistance and cannot be damaged by smearing, scratching or erasing, nor can it be removed from the printed material with adhesive tape. It is highly resistant to many chemicals, with the exception of organic solvents. The printed label cannot be smeared at temperatures of up to 220°C and is therefore extremely heat resistant.
Type plates and permanent markings in the industrial, laboratory, pharmaceutical and medical sectors that are subject to heavy use over many years are the applications for this quality. It is also used for printing PVC cards that are exposed to mechanical stress and hand perspiration.
With its BS5609 (seawater resistance) and UL certification on certain label materials, the grade can be used for labelling chemicals and electrical equipment where long life and secure traceability are paramount.
Product range
We manufacture thermal transfer ribbons of this quality to order in every possible dimension and design to measure!
For an optimal use of material and the best price, the jumbo roll width should be used completely. The minimum quantity for a made-to-measure order is 200m².
Net width of jumbo roll: 880 mm
