is one of our brilliant wax-quality thermal transfer ribbons for paper and cardboard materials. It can be used on all label printers with flat-head printheads. The wax inks can be used for printing on all vellum papers, matt and gloss coated papers and cardboard materials. Films such as PE can also be printed. This quality is coated on a base film with a thickness of 5.7 µm. This makes it somewhat less sensitive – but also mechanically more stable and especially narrow ribbons can be processed without problems.

The print has limited smudge resistance, but is not scratch-resistant. It can be removed with an eraser after some cycles, but remains legible in the tape test. The print is waterproof, but resistance to chemicals is limited.

Coloured thermal transfer ribbons are used for the automated printing of labels or on packaging when important information needs to be highlighted in colour or printed in the company colour and, of course, when the colour on the label has to match the product. Blue is the best-selling colour after red, like black it can be read perfectly by all scanners and is the most common corporate colour. T 269 Blue matches all products and can be used for postal franking.

If the colour does not fit exactly, we can develop custom colours from a minimum quantity of 10,000 m²!
