is one of our brilliant wax-quality inks for paper and board materials. It can be used on all label printers with flat-head printheads. The wax inks can be used for printing on all vellum, matt and gloss coated papers and board materials. Foils such as PE can also be printed. This quality is gentle on the print head as it is very sensitive and prints excellently at up to 250 mm/s over a wide temperature range.

The print is limited smudge but not scratch resistant. It can be removed with an eraser after a few cycles and is not very resistant to removal with tape. The print is waterproof, but resistance to chemicals is poor.

Coloured thermal transfer ribbons are used for printing labels when important information needs to be highlighted in colour or printed in the company colour and, of course, when the colour on the label has to match the product: Orange or bright red is the classic colour for warnings and special promotions in retail. However, barcodes can only be recognised by camera-based scanners.

If the colour does not match exactly, we can develop custom colours from a purchase quantity of 10,000 m²!
