Thermal Transfer Ribbon
N 904 Ge
is one of our brilliant near-edge inks that prints small letters and fine lines in super resolution with high opacity. It can be used on all label printers with near-edge print heads and direct printing systems. The near-edge inks are very flexible and universally applicable for printing on all label materials: vellum, coated papers, films such as PE, PP, PVC and PET, with and without top coat. This quality is gentle on the print head as it is very sensitive and prints excellently over a wide temperature range.
The print is smudge but not scratch resistant, is difficult to remove with an eraser and can hardly be removed with adhesive tape. Resistance to chemicals is poor with the exception of motor oil. The print is very resistant to motor oil.
Fields of application for coloured thermal transfer ribbons are the automated printing of labels or on packaging, when important information is to be highlighted in colour or printed in company colour and, of course, when the colour on the label has to match the product: this strong sunny yellow still allows visually legible printouts. Barcodes can only be recognised by camera-based scanners.
If the colour shade does not match exactly: Custom colours can be developed from a quantity of 10,000 m².
