Thermal Transfer Ribbon
N 900 Bl
is one of our brilliant near-edge colours that prints even small letters and fine lines in super resolution with high opacity. It can be used on all label printers with near-edge print heads and direct printing systems. The near-edge colours can be used flexibly and universally for printing on all label materials: vellum, coated papers, films such as PE, PP, PVC and PET, with and without top coat. This quality is gentle on the print head as it is very sensitive and prints excellently over a wide temperature range.
The print is smudge-proof but not scratch-proof, is difficult to remove with an eraser and can hardly be removed with adhesive tape. With the exception of engine oil, resistance to chemicals is low.
Applications for coloured thermal transfer ribbons include the automated printing of labels or on packaging, when important information needs to be highlighted in colour or printed in company colour and, of course, when the colour on the label needs to match the product: This vibrant blue colour suits numerous products such as wine, spirits, cosmetics and seafood. Barcodes can be read perfectly with LEDs and laser scanners
If the colour does not match exactly: Customised colours can be developed from a quantity of 10,000 m².
