TDW136 is our premium wax quality, distinguished by its exceptional resistance — particularly against scratching.
The deep black, highly uniform print performs impressively on vellum, coated and high-gloss papers, as well as on PE, PP, PVC, and even polyester films. The ribbon is also certified for use in the food industry.

The print resolution is outstanding: the finest fonts, delicate lines, graphics, and all common barcodes are reproduced with razor-sharp clarity. Thanks to its high sensitivity, the ribbon can be processed at low energy levels and consistently delivers high quality across a wide temperature range.

The mechanical durability of the print image is exceptionally high for a wax ribbon. Even after 1,000 rub cycles on the Crockmeter (10 N), an EAN code remains almost intact and still readable with ANSI grade B — depending on the material, the print can practically be considered scratch-resistant.

The print shows solid resistance to chemicals such as alcohol, engine oil, brake fluid, and hydraulic oil. A backcoating proven over billions of running meters also protects printheads and ensures long service life.

This premium wax quality is ideal for high-quality labels on many materials and can replace more expensive wax/resin ribbons in numerous applications.

Our premium wax quality from the proven Advantage Range covers a large part of common applications and is available with a minimum order quantity of just one carton.
The cartons have a uniform size and contain between 8 and 30 rolls, depending on the roll dimensions, which makes onward handling particularly convenient. Each roll is individually shrink-wrapped, providing optimal protection against external influences.
